SEASON 49: OVERVIEW EFFECT

Philharmonia Northwest presents a season of galactic proportions! In his inaugural season, Music Director Michael Wheatley has crafted a musical representation of the “Overview Effect”:  the feeling of awe and transcendence astronauts describe upon viewing the Earth from space. Our 2024-25 concerts explore over 200 years of music from around the world, with inspiring guest artists, familiar works, lesser-known gems, and more. Plus we’re bringing back an audience favorite – our children’s concert! From the depths of the ocean to a galaxy far, far away, there’s something for everyone.

Join us—we can’t wait to see you!
