Draw what you hear! Then share your pictures, and see what other kids did for the same music.

Watch the intro video above, then follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Get out your art materials! First you’ll need paper. Then you’ll need pens, or pencils, or crayons – or whatever you like to use.

Step 2: Draw a line down the middle of your paper – the left side is for the first video, and the right side is for the second (see the two videos below).

Step 3: Listen to a video and draw on one side of your paper. Let your mind run wild! Then when you are done with the first video, play the second for the other half of your paper. You can repeat the music as many times as you want until you are satisfied with your drawings.

Step 4: Scan or take a photo of your art, then send it to us at outreach@philharmonianw.org. Soon you will be able to see what other kids thought up while the music played. AND every kid who submits their art will be entered to win a prize.
