Interview with Yuliya Minina, piano: (1) How and why did you start playing the piano?  I started to do rhythmic gymnastics when I was about 5 years old. My mom thought it would be a good idea to introduce me into some music lessons "to improve my sense of rhythm."

An Interview with Walter Gray

Concert-goers attending Philharmonia Northwest's upcoming concert on February 16th are in for a treat.  Walter  Gray, long-time Seattle resident and cellist with the Seattle Symphony, will be guest soloist with the orchestra,  performing Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto in e minor. Mr. Gray has distinguished himself
