There’s been a murder—and every instrument in the orchestra is a suspect! Join Inspector Lisa Bergman (KING FM) for Nathaniel Stookey’s delightfully witty Lemony Snicket’s The Composer is Dead, a hilarious musical mystery that introduces young audiences to the orchestra through laughter, suspense, and plenty of surprising musical clues and cues.

PROGRAM:

Edvard Grieg – “In the Hall of the Mountain King” from Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, Op. 46
Nathaniel Stookey – The Composer is Dead

Philharmonia Northwest is proud to offer two performances of “Sneaky with Snicket”:

  • 12pm Sensory-Friendly Performance: Includes added supports for audience members who are neurodivergent or have sensory processing challenges, including dimmed lights, lower volumes, and reduced audience size. Fidget toys will also be provided.
  • 2pm General Audience Performance: The same concert as the 12pm performance, but with a bigger (and louder) audience and louder music

Both performances feature a welcoming environment for young children, relaxed audience etiquette expectations, and a run time under 1 hr.
